End of Season Singles Money Tournament
The End of Season Singles Money Tournament will play played this Saturday, June 13th at 4pm.
It will be a double elimination tournament split into upper and lower brackets. The cut off will be determined on the day based on the players who register for the event. There is a 10,000won entry fee to play and being a league event ranking points will count.
The tournament is scheduled to take place at Shenanigans, Sin Bin, Dolce Vita and Scrooge Pub. The signups will be at Shenanigans from 3pm. Play will begin as close to 4pm as possible.
The prize money will be paid out to both brackets and breaks down as follows:
1st Place: 250,000won
2nd Place: 200,000won
3rd Place: 150,000won
4th Place: 100,000won
5th-8th Place: 40,000won
There will also be a trophy awarded to the winners of each bracket at the banquet on June 26th.

The Play-Offs - Round 1
The Winter/Spring Pool League Play-Offs are here. Round 1 will begin on Sunday at 4pm (Unless otherwise agreed by both captains). Only players who have played 5 weeks are eligible to play. Scores can only be entered by a league official so please drop score sheets into Scrooge Pub or send me a kakao message with attached picture of the score sheet. The fixtures are as follows:

There are clashes at Bulldog and Shenanigans so captains should arrange alternative venues or times as appropriate (Both Scrooge and Sin Bin are vacant if you need to find other venues)

The Play-Offs - Round 2
The second round of the Winter/Spring 2015 Championship will be played this Wednesday, June 10th. All matches should break off at 7:30pm as usual and normal play-off rules apply. This begins the straight knockout portion of the play-offs and there are no more second chances. The matches are as follows:

Bob Denny Sportsmanship Award
The polls are now open and anyone who has a login to the website can vote for the team that has displayed the best example of sportsmanship this season. The winning team will be presented with the magnificent 'Bob Denny Sportsmanship Award' trophy at the banquet on June 26th. Please try and encourage everyone you know to vote as this trophy really represents what this league is about.
In other news and on a related issue I'm happy to announce that the pool tournament held on May 26th to benefit the victims of the Nepal Earthquake raised $1,870. It was an excellent day and a terrific example of people coming together in sport and helping those less fortunate. A huge thank you to Charlie from Wonky Triangles for the brilliant idea in the first place as well as getting some wonderful prizes, Lenny for hosting in his usual suave and sophisticated manner, Ronan for helping to add to the massive prize fund, Mark and and all the staff at Scrooge Pub for laying on a special event and supplying great prizes, Jim and all the staff at Dolce Vita for helping with co-hosing duties and to all the bars and businesses that were so kind in donations especially Craftworks and Soapy Genie who offered up some brilliant prizes. Finally I would like to thank my teammate, Jeff Bunke, who contributed massively on the day by buying an obscene amount of raffle tickets and trying buy everyone in the Calcutta.
It was an awesome day and I was very proud to be there with a special group of people.
