Midseason Singles Trophy Tournament
The Midseason Singles Trophy Tournament will take place on 8/31. Signups at Sam Ryan's from 3-3:45. Play will start at 4pm. Players will be divided into two brackets, upper and lower. Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 players in each bracket. Players need to have played in 2 matches to be eligible. Entry is free and we hope to see a lot of players come!

End of Season Singles Money Tournament - Winners
We had the End of Season Singles Money Tournament yesterday with a total of 27 players, 13 in the Upper Bracket and 14 in the Lower Bracket.
After some shocks, startling misses, and sublime shots the following heroes skedaddled with the loot.
Upper Bracket
4th place: Doo Man Lim (Bulldog Avengers)
3rd Place: Darryl Dawson (JR Pub Super Strokers)
2nd Place: Young Jin 'KD' Yi (King Pub Komodo Dragons)
1st Place: 'Blue Jay' (King Pub Komodo Dragons)
Lower Bracket
4th Place: Patrick Froelander (Sam Ryan's Rats)
3rd Place: Milo Ylstra (Sam Ryan's Rats)
2nd Place: Andy Han (Bulldog Avengers)
1st Place: Rio Lee (Bulldog Avengers)
Congratulations to the winners!! Interestingly the top two in each bracket were from the same teams, and both winners came through the losers side to win both final games!

The midseason tournaments will be on August 31st (singles trophy) and September 7th (doubles money). Players need to play in 2 separate matches to qualify for midseason tournaments.

End of Season Doubles Trophy Tournament - Winners
We had 22 players turn out for the doubles tournament yesterday. A decent showing for a wet Saturday afternoon. After some pulsating battles, a surprising number of scratches, and a 2-game final when many of those in attendance lost the will to live, the following teams emerged victorious.
1st Place: David Pipes (Sam Ryan's Chalk and Awe) & Charlie West (Dolce Vita HoboZ4Lyfe)
2nd Place: Darryl Dawson (Jr Pub Super Strokers) & Mike Kim (Shenanigans HELL FIRES)
3rd Place: Young Jin Yi (King Pub Komodo Dragons) & Jim Sapielak (Dolce Vita Sweet Life)
Well done to the winners and thanks to everyone who came out to play. Thanks also to Scott and Lenny for helping to run the tournament.
